Research even points to the fact that income tax cuts hurt businesses because the reduced public service costs (increased security, more wear on vehicles from bad roads, fewer street lights nearby etc.)  will increase costs on the business.  Small businesses can&#039;t absorb these the way larger corporations can and force the ones that are looking to expanding out of business.]]></description>
